The Role
We are seeking a well-rounded digital marketing account leader for our Client Success Account Manager position. This individual will be responsible for managing customer relationships and working as an intermediary between our marketing teams (all channels) and our customers, with the goal of client retention. This candidate serves as the point of escalation for the client team, ensures SOW and client requirements are fulfilled, and holds the marketing team accountable for the health of the client relationship.
A successful candidate will be invested in our clients’ industries, possess a deep understanding of each client’s business and growth objectives, and always look for ways to develop and strengthen relationships within the client organization and agency partners. We’re seeking someone with impeccable presentation skills as well as an innate ability to problem-solve and inspire key stakeholders with big-picture opportunities. This position is a regular, full-time, exempt position. DRINKS is home-based in Los Angeles; however, we are now a remote-first company.
What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of marketing professionals in delivering successful strategies and campaigns for our clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their goals, objectives, and challenges.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on campaign progress, performance, and any relevant account information.
- Work closely with clients to identify their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their specific business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, development, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of client projects.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring prompt response times, effective problem-solving, and efficient issue resolution.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to provide strategic guidance and insights to clients.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Proactively identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, presenting relevant solutions to clients.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team
About You
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role within a digital marketing agency or e-commerce-related product business
- Strong knowledge and experience in email marketing, SMS marketing, content marketing, and web design/development
- Familiarity with Shopify and Shopify Plus, as well as the apps within the Shopify e-commerce ecosystem
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Self-starter with a hunger for success and the drive to go above and beyond to exceed client expectations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal stakeholders
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
Primary Location Compensation Range: $60,000-$70,000/yr.
