Assistant Baker [New Zealand]


 

  • Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist Baker in forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products

· check cleanliness of equipment and operation of premises before production runs to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

· Assist Baker in checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients

· Assist Baker in kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods

· monitoring oven temperatures and product appearance to determine baking times

· Assist Baker in decorating cakes with cream and icing

· emptying, cleaning and greasing baking trays, tins and other cooking equipment

· cleaning kitchens, cake preparation areas and sculleries

· assembling and preparing ingredients for baking

Relevant work experience required: No experience or qualifications required

Minimum working Hours : 30 Hours Per Week ....

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Auckland City, Auckland: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
